Frequently asked questions
Is the QR code generator free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no email, no payment needed. You can generate as many QR codes as you need with no limits.
Is my data stored on a server?
No. The QR code is generated directly in your browser. Your link, your WiFi password and your contact details are never sent to any server or stored in any database.
What kinds of QR codes can I create?
Three: link QR codes (websites, social profiles, forms, Google Drive documents…), WiFi QR codes, so anyone who scans them joins your network without typing the password, and contact QR codes in vCard format, so the phone offers to save your name, phone, email and company.
How do I make a WiFi QR code?
Choose the WiFi tab, type the network name exactly as it appears on your phone (it is case-sensitive), the password and the security type (WPA on almost every modern router). Generate the code and test it with your phone before printing. It works with the iPhone camera and most Android phones. See the full guide to making a WiFi password QR code.
What format can I download the QR in?
The QR code downloads as a PNG file, ready to use on posters, menus, business cards, social media, or any printed or digital material.
Do QR codes expire?
No. QR codes generated with this tool are static and never expire. As long as the destination link stays active, the QR code will keep working.
