Merge and split PDF free online

Combine several PDFs into one file or extract the pages you need. Everything runs in your browser → your files are never uploaded to any server.

Drag your PDF files here

or select them from your device. You can add several.

This tool processes PDFs directly in your browser, so it is fast and 100% private. Ideal for confidential documents: nothing leaves your device.

How it works

  1. Merge: add your PDFs, reorder them and download a single file.
  2. Split: upload a PDF, enter the page range and extract what you need.
  3. Everything is processed locally: fast, free and no watermark.

Merge or split PDFs without installing anything

Combining several documents into a single PDF, or separating the pages of one file, are two of the most common document tasks. With this tool you can merge PDFs (join invoices, contracts, scans or chapters into one file) and split a PDF (extract a specific page range) without installing software or creating an account.

Unlike many online services, your files are not uploaded anywhere: reading and saving happen entirely in your browser using local technology. That makes it especially suitable for sensitive documents like contracts, payslips or legal paperwork, and it works equally well on desktop and mobile.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge several PDFs into one for free?

Select or drag the PDF files you want to combine, reorder them with the arrows and click «Merge PDF». A single downloadable file is generated instantly — free, no watermark and no file limit.

How do I split a PDF or extract specific pages?

Switch to the «Split PDF» tab, upload your file and type the page range you need (for example 1-3, 5, 8-10). Click «Split PDF» and you get a new file with exactly those pages, in the order you listed.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The whole operation runs in your own browser using local technology. Your PDFs are never sent to the internet or stored on any server, so it is completely private and safe for confidential documents.

Is there a size or file-count limit?

There is no artificial limit. Because the processing happens on your device, the practical limit depends on your hardware. Files with hundreds of pages or several documents at once work fine on a modern device.

Does the PDF lose quality when merged or split?

No. Pages are copied as-is, without re-compression, so the text, images and quality of the original document stay intact.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

If the PDF is encrypted with a password, you first need to unlock it (open it with the password and save it again without one). For security, protected PDFs cannot be processed directly.
